Giovanni "Johnny" Staccato (aka Big Daddy) is an award-winning professional singer, musician, bandleader, disc jockey, and emcee entertainer who has shared the stage as opening act for nationally known recording artists as Bonnie Raitt, Oleta Adams, Fattburger, Warren Zevon, Jonathan Butler, Max Groove, Joyce Cooling, Mindi Abair, Slim Man, The Fifth Dimension and Michael Buble. He represents a new brand of entertainer to the music industry. A growing force of singers who by-pass the usual formula and instead play a music that they have no right doing well. Still these singers defy the odds and play standards like only the legends could. Staccato along with Michael Buble’, Norah Jones, Peter Cincotti, Matt Dusk, Jane Monheit, Jamie Cullum and hosts of others are changing the way we look and listen to music. He sings with a wisdom and grace that's getting him lots of recognition. A singing sensation whose smooth voice and heartthrob style harks back to the swingin' greats of earlier decades, to the likes of Frank and Dean, but also speaks to a new generation's sensibility.
